UNJU LEE
Unju Lee received his M.F.A. at Pratt Institute and officially began his métier in sculpture in 2001. Since then he’s done a variety of exhibitions ranging from O.K. Harris, Broadway Windows, Washington Square Windows, New York Korean Cultural Center, and Mount Beacon Fine Arts.
His pieces all revolve around one material, each collection extending the long line of one central theme. This material is cardboard. He fell in love with the natural quality that formed from such a product of the synthetic era we live in.
